You may already have meaningful clinical experiences, research, leadership, volunteering, teaching, or advocacy on your CV.
But strong experiences do not automatically create a strong ERAS application.
I often see applicants with impressive backgrounds weaken their applications because their descriptions:
- Read like job descriptions
- List duties without showing their actual contribution
- Use vague or generic language
- Repeat the same information across multiple sections
- Waste valuable character space
- Include reflection where it does not add anything
- Sound overly polished or AI-generated rather than like the applicant
The goal of this workshop is to help you turn what you have actually done into clear, specific writing that communicates your role, contribution, and growth.

Bring Your Own ERAS Writing
This is not just a lecture.
Every attendee may submit one 750-character Selected Experience description OR one 300-character Most Meaningful response before the workshop.
You’ll receive personalized feedback identifying:
- What is already working
- What is unclear or missing
- Where you may be wasting character space
- What sounds generic
- Where your role or contribution could be more specific
- How you can strengthen the response during revision
Selected submissions may also be reviewed anonymously during the live workshop, with the applicant’s permission, so everyone can learn from real examples.

This Is Not a Full ERAS Application Review
The workshop is focused specifically on helping you become a stronger ERAS writer and giving you feedback on one submitted response.
If you need individualized strategy involving red flags, reapplication, specialty changes, unusual timelines, signaling, or review of your full application, private ERAS advising may be a better fit.

I’m Dr. Alina, a physician, USMLE tutor, medical educator, and residency advisor.
I matched into my top-choice general surgery residency program and have personally tutored and advised 280+ medical students and residents across USMLE preparation, medical school, ERAS, residency interviews, and the Match.
Through working individually with applicants, I have repeatedly seen the same problem: students may have excellent experiences, but their applications do not always communicate the strength of what they actually did.
I created this workshop to help applicants understand how to think about their writing, rather than simply handing them another template to copy.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the 2027 ERAS Guide included?
Yes. Your registration includes my updated 50-page 2027 ERAS Residency Application Guide at no additional cost.
I already purchased the ERAS Guide. Do I have to pay for it again?
No. Your full $35 Guide purchase will be credited toward the workshop, reducing your registration price from $99 to $64. Prior Guide purchasers will receive a private discount code tied to the email address used for their original purchase.
Will you rewrite my response for me?
No. You will receive personalized feedback and specific revision guidance, but the workshop does not include ghostwriting or a complete rewrite.
The goal is for you to understand how to improve your own writing so you can apply the same principles throughout the rest of your application.
Do I need to have my entire ERAS application completed before attending?
No.
Ideally, you should have at least one Selected Experience description or Most Meaningful response drafted so you can submit it for feedback.
Your entire application does not need to be finished.
What happens after I register?
After purchase:
- You will receive the 2027 ERAS Guide automatically.
- You will receive workshop instructions by email.
- You will receive a link to submit one ERAS response for feedback.
- You will receive your private Google Meet access information before the workshop.

What can I submit for feedback?
You may submit one of the following:
- One 750-character Selected Experience description, OR
- One 300-character Most Meaningful response
Submission instructions and the deadline will be emailed to you after registration.
Will my submission be shown during the workshop?
Only with your permission.
Selected submissions may be reviewed live as teaching examples, but they will be anonymized before being shown to other attendees.
You may also choose not to allow your submission to be discussed live and still receive your individual feedback.
What if I cannot attend live?
You will receive access to the workshop replay for 8 weeks.
However, live attendance is recommended so you can participate in the Q&A and learn from the real-time discussion of attendee submissions.
