Dr. Alina, MD, is a medical educator, USMLE tutor, and residency application advisor who has personally worked with more than 280 medical students, graduates, and residents.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with high honors from the University of California, Davis and her MD from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Her professional background includes general surgery training, academic research, medical education, and years of one-on-one tutoring and advising.

Her tutoring experience spans USMLE and COMLEX preparation, NBME Shelf Exams, ABSITE, ERAS applications, residency interviews, and medical school admissions, allowing her to support students and applicants across multiple stages of medical training.

Before building her own tutoring and advising practice, Dr. Alina also taught MCAT students with The Princeton Review. Her approach centers on individualized strategy: identifying what is holding each student or applicant back, creating a clear plan, and helping them use their time and resources more effectively.
